Ghost the Musical Announces New Tour Dates: A Haunting Love Story Returns to the Stage

‘Ghost the Musical,’ the stage adaptation of the beloved film featuring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg, is set to captivate audiences once again with a new tour launching later this year. The enchanting narrative follows Sam, a murdered boyfriend, as he embarks on a supernatural quest to protect his living girlfriend, Molly, from imminent danger. The musical brings the iconic story to life with a book and lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin, who penned the original screenplay, and mesmerizing music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard.

Under the skilled direction of Bob Tomson and with choreography by Alistair David, the production promises an immersive experience. The creative team includes Mark Bailey for design, Nick Richings for lighting, Dan Samson for sound, and Richard Pinner for illusions, ensuring a spectacular presentation of this timeless tale of love transcending the boundaries of life and death.

The tour will debut at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on 22 August, before making its way to renowned venues including the Sunderland Empire, Liverpool Empire, Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre, and Darlington Hippodrome, among others. It will grace stages in cities like Cheltenham, Leicester, Torquay, Coventry, Bradford, Aberdeen, Stoke, and Bath, with the year’s performances concluding at the Blackpool Opera House.
