Welcome to your weekly bite of AussieTheatre news.
As the new year is in full swing, there is plenty going on in the Australian theatre scene.
This week it was announced that Shrek the Musical will be hosting an Auslan interpreted performance on Saturday 8 February at 2pm in Sydney and Pam Ayers will be returning to perform her one-woman show.
The Sydney Theatre Awards were held on 20 January and we have the full list of winners here.
Meanwhile, in Brisbane, Libby McDonnell discusses Circa’s latest production Peepshow with Sally Wright and Gabi spent some time Getting to know David Suchet ahead of his tour which kicks off this month.
ABC has also announced that they are set to make a live musical adaption if Young Frankenstein as their next musical production and Penn and Teller have been forced to postpone their tour to later in the year due to Teller requiring emergency surgery on his back.
