WAAPA warms up winter

As part of its June program The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) presents a Broadway smash hit musical, classic drama and a true story based on one of the most infamous scandals in financial history. These productions end the first semester for the talented group of WAAPA students as they begin to prepare for the semester two program.

How to Succeed in Business without really trying

In the three short years since moving to the Regal Theatre, WAAPA’s mid year musical has become a major highlight on the WA arts calendar.  Following on from the success of 42nd Street, Anything Goes and Crazy For You the third year musical theatre students will this year present How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Hot on the heels from a successful run on Broadway the musical tells the story of a wily window washer, J. Pierrepont Finch, and his hillarious rise up the corporate ladder, thanks to the aid of a trusty self help book.
