In January 2012, international vocal coach Tim Smith will be offering intensive singing workshops in three Australian cities.

Want to BELT like the Broadway stars? Want to hone your vocal skills and prepare for professional auditions? A little Vocal Alchemy might be just the ticket… In January 2012, internationally acclaimed vocal coach, Vocal Alchemy’s Tim Smith, will be offering an intensive singing workshop series in three Australian cities.  The Broadway Voice 2012 is a brand new series of singing workshops which will take place in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane with an aim to give participants ‘the edge’ for the host of auditions coming up next year.  With over 20 years professional experience, Tim Smith has become the sought-after vocal coach with clients now in cities ranging from Paris and London to Sydney and Brisbane. Only 20 participants will be accepted into each course as they spend 14 hours over 2 days exploring many advanced vocal techniques currently used in many of the shows on Broadway.  The course is perfect for singers, dancers and teachers with separate sessions on legit, contemporary and mix voice including demonstrations, explanations and exercises.  “People are always asking me about ‘MIX’ voice” says Smith. “How do I sing like that? How do I teach people to sing like that? What really is BELT?” The Broadway Voice 2012 not only promises to answer these and similar questions but also promises to give you real-world, immediately useable skills during the 2 day workshops.  A special highlight during the workshop are the four YOU SING Masterclass sessions in which participants are guaranteed individual attention and assistance insovling whatever technical or artistic vocal problem you may have. For more information, and to register for these courses, visit  vocalalchemy.com.au
