The show is set to open at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre in “early 2017” according to a tweet from the Premier’s official twitter account and a message on his Facebook page.

According to Andrews’ Facebook post, the 9 time Tony Award and 4 time Olivier Award winning musical from the creators of South Park (Trey Parker and Matt Stone) and Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez is “the most successful musical in the world”.

No further details on producers and dates are available at this stage. More to come soon.

There has been no word on a tour as yet. We would assume that it will play for quite a long time in Melbourne and then consider a tour down the track.

  • Here we are, midway through 2017. Has there been any announcement concerning the Sydney season of Book of Morman?
Or are they still saying “Melbourne only”?
