Sydney’s Glen Street Theatre hosts exclusive season of Stop. Rewind

Cast of Stop. Rewind

After the success of their debut, Red Sky Morning, Red Stitch Actors Theatre is set to stage their second work, Stop.Rewind.

A deft and recognisable comedy with heart, written by 2010 Patrick White Playwright Awards winneer/playwright Melissa Bubnic, the production will play an exclusive Sydney season from July 3 – 14.

Is it too late the live the life you’ve always wanted? Stop. Rewind follows a disparate group of co-workers at a departmental office who struggle with exactly this question, and the compromises they’ve had to make on their dreams. There’s Trevor, who is worried he’s wasted his life; Dim, who wants to be a musician, even though his ‘temporary’ day job has lasted for over a year; Heather and Tabitha and Nina have problems with their personal and sex lives.

It’s all the same story until a catastrophic event forces the departmental workers to examine their own lives and what it is they really want – and what they are prepared to sacrifice to get it.

STOP. REWIND runs at the Glen Street Theatre from 3 – 14 July
