QPAC Choir auditions singers for 2013

Would you like to be part of the Spirit of Christmas this year? Or how about perform with the Queensland Pops Orchestra in the Best of Britain?

The QPAC Choir want you and your talent.

The glorious choir is under the direction of Choir Master Tim Sherlock and has taken many people’s ‘shower-singing’ enjoyment to a new level.

Formed in 2008, the QPAC Choir is a contemporary community choir for singers aged 18 years and over. As an initiative of QPAC the choir is managed as part of QPAC’s artistic program, and is involved in a number of performances throughout the year including Brisbane Open House, Christmas in the City and The QPAC Choir Showcase.

From reaching out on smaller scales in important community events to performing in the Concert Hall, the experience is like no other.

“The continued development of the QPAC Choir is an important objective for the Centre and brings together the local community, performers from all backgrounds who have a shared love of creating music”, said QPAC Chief Executive John Kotzas.

Auditions will be held in a supportive atmosphere and applicants should bring with them one minute of a song of your choice, (unaccompanied) and a love of singing.

A large shout out to male members is resonating through the streets of Brisbane, as a much needed bost is needed for the tenor and bass sections. So if that’s you, go for it.
