Broadway sensation Idina Menzel is set to dazzle audiences nationwide with her upcoming “Take Me or Leave Me Tour,” starting this July. The tour will spotlight an array of Broadway hits, including timeless songs from “Wicked” and “Rent,” as well as tracks from her 2023 dance album, “Drama Queen.”
Announced on Tuesday, Menzel’s tour will launch on July 19 in Seattle, Washington, and will visit a total of 21 cities, concluding on August 18 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The selection of venues promises an intimate setting, ideal for experiencing Menzel’s powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence.
Fans can look forward to a mix of musical styles, from the dramatic anthems of Elphaba in “Wicked” to the spirited numbers of Maureen in “Rent.” Menzel, who won a Tony Award in 2004 for her role in “Wicked,” continues to captivate audiences with her performances both on stage and on screen, including her beloved role as Elsa in Disney’s “Frozen.”
Ticket sales are set to begin soon, with artist presales and VIP packages available starting April 24, followed by the general ticket release on April 26. This tour not only celebrates Menzel’s past Broadway triumphs but also her ongoing contribution to the music industry with her latest album.
