Stephen Schwartz’s Pippin, with choreography by Bob Fosse, originally premiered on Broadway in 1972, winning 5 Tony Awards and running for over 2000 performances. This all-new revival production is now in its second year on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre and features choreography in the style of Bob Fosse (from Chet Walker) as well as incredible acrobatics thanks to Gypsy Snider.

PIPPIN will launch a US national tour in September 2014, at the Buell Theatre in Denver, CO. Productions are also planned for London, Australia and Amsterdam in 2015. The New Broadway Cast Recording for PIPPIN is now available on Ghostlight Records.

Australia’s last professional production of Pippin starred Matthew Robinson, Sharon Millerchip and Bert La Bonte, presented by Kookaburra – the ill fated national theatre company – in 2007.

Is it time for Pippin to find its corner of the sky down under?
