New York’s Broadway on Demand partners with Australian Theatre Live to showcase Australian artists to American audiences
In a ground-breaking partnership, Australian Theatre Live, the premier arts subscription online platform, has joined forces with Broadway On Demand in America, projected to reach over 200 million households. The deal highlights a trend which has seen the Australian stage launch the careers of many popular Aussie actors across both stage and screen, including Hugh Jackman, Mel Gibson, Cate Blanchette and Sarah Snook among many others.
Broadway On Demand is an Emmy Award nominated streaming platform for theatrical content, known for distributing more than 1,000 live productions in 2020, its inaugural year, and is now one of the leaders for live and on-demand theatre content worldwide. “This partnership with Australian Theatre Live aligns with our commitment to bringing exceptional theatrical experiences to audiences worldwide.
