Kids on Broadway is a holiday musical treat

Get ready to say “awwww”: Chatswood Musical Society will present Kids on Broadwaynext month, featuring an all-child cast singing the hit songs from favourite kids’ musicals.

Following other variety ventures Best of Broadway and A Night on the West End, CMS will showcase performers aged 6-16 years old live on stage from July 7 – 15.

Kids on Broadway is a cabaret-style show featuring songs from some of the greatest stage and screen musicals: Annie, The Little Mermaid, The Sound of Music, Mary Popping, The Lion King, and many more.

Songs include “Be Our Guest” (Beauty and the Beast), “We’re all in this Together” (High School Musical), “You Can’t Stop the Beat” (Hairspray), “Consider Yourself” (Oliver), “Neverland” (Peter Pan) “Friend Like Me” (Aladdin) and a score of other toe-tapping, sing-out-loud hits.

With a talented cast of 49 performers, this is a family-friendly show (matinees and 7pm starts) sure to delight audiences of all ages.
