I Love Lilly – Cutting edge cabaret with a twist of muppet

Kristopher Brown and Lilly Monster

Muppets are in this year. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal and Gonzo have had their fair share of limelight in cinemas the world over of late, but what about our furry friends back home?

This Valentine’s Day, the sassy, sexy and ultimately salacious Miss Lilly Monster will be gracing the stage at Downstairs At Alma’s for an evening of adults-only cabaret.

Don’t stay home eating that box of Ferrero Rocher all on your own – come to the cabaret to see I Love Lilly, and experience a truly unique night of love, loss, heartbreak and stalkers told the way only a muppet can!

Joining Lilly Monster is her best friend Kris as they explore what romance and relationships really are in the 21st Century. I Love Lilly features some of the greatest love songs, (and hate songs), from the worlds of musical theatre and pop.

Produced by new Melbourne-based independent theatre company Monster Media, I Love Lilly is directed by Noah Sharwood and musically directed by Shanon Whitelock. Monster Media are committed to producing quality, cutting edge, innovate entertainment which stretches the imagination.

So if you’re feeling lovelorn, horny or just didn’t make any plans with your significant other this Valentine’s Day, come along and fall in love with Lilly!
