Hayes Theatre Co gets creative with Musical Theatre writing seminar

Proving once again that the Hayes Theatre Co are dedicated to the cause of endorsing and developing new musical theatre in our country, it was announced this month that the group will be hosting their first Musical Theatre Writing Seminar.

Held on 30 May at the Hayes venue, the seminar will be the first event in the newly announced initiative, titled Hayes Creative. David Mitchell, Max Lambert, Christie Evangelisto and James Millar will join Richard Carroll in leading the first event of the series, which will soon expand into workshops, masterclasses, public talks and further seminars.

The Musical Theatre Writing Seminar will focus on the writing of Musical Theatre and will feature some of Australia’s leading Musical Theatre creators. Sharing their own experiences of creating Musical Theatre, the event will be moderated by Richard Carroll and include a question and answer session with the audience.

The team at AussieTheatre look forward to seeing the results of the Hayes Creative initiative, and congratulate the Hayes on once again pushing for new material and content created by local talent.

Tickets for the Seminar can be purchased here, please continue reading for further information on the participants of the event.
