Your first love, Benita from Play School (just me?!) is starring with the Channel 9 Midday mastro Geoff Harvey (trust me on this one, kids, he was a thing) in the return season of Senior Moments, following its successful season at the Glen Street Theatre. You’ll know if you’re the audience for this kind of show.
The comedy revue will play Parramatta’s Riverside Theatres from 9 February and the Concourse Theatre in Chatswood from 22 February 2017.
Senior Moments is billed as: “a deliciously funny and fresh collection of comic senior moments and songs all joined together in traditional revue style to bring audiences a show packed with fun and frivolity; and to help them stop thinking constantly about their lumbago* for at least 90 minutes!”
*Lumbago = lower back pain.
With Geoff Harvey on piano, a cast of veteran performers (apparently who are old enough to know better) are lined up for the season, including Lex Marinos (Kingswood Country; The Slap), Benita Collings (Play School; Sleeping Beauty) and John Derum (The Aunty Jack Show; A Sentimental Bloke).
Expect to hear a ton of jokes about growing old disgracefully. Take your favourite senior.
