Once – Australian cast recording of Falling Slowly now available for download

Tony Award winning musical Once is heading to Melbourne’s Princess Theatre very soon, featuring an exceptionally talented cast of actor/singer/musicians.

Starring Tom Parsons as Guy and Madeleine Jones as Girl, this Australian production is currently in the final stages of rehearsals and will be previewing later this month ahead of an official opening night on October 4.

The cast of this production also double as the orchestra, with every member of the company playing at least one (sometimes three or four) instruments throughout the show.

In the lead up to the show’s debut in Melbourne, the producers of Once have released an official cast recording of the Oscar winning song ‘Falling Slowly’ (available for download here) and an accompanying music video.

Whether a full Australian cast recording will be made during the season remains to be seen, but for the moment, be sure to check out the video below and download the track
