This Wednesday 17 October, singer, actor and songwriter Michael Falzon will be taking to the stage at Slide on Oxford Street for a night of plugged-in entertainment.

Plugged In is Falzon’s latest show, featuring some fabulous guest artists and his smoking hot band: Isaac Hayward (MD/keys), Daniel Maher (guitar), Kyle Mercado (bass) and Dom Cabrera (drums), and Falzon is looking forward to strutting his stuff at Slide.

“One of the really cool things about doing your own show is that you can pick your leading ladies – in this case Amanda Harrison, Laura Bunting … and Nick Hardcastle”, he laughed.

“Having guested at Slide for an event or two and seen a few great acts there, I’m excited about working in such an intimate space.”

AussieTheatre had such a great response to Michael Falzon’s double pass giveaway over the weekend that we have managed to twist the arm of the lovely people at Slide to offer our readers another special deal!

Book now to see Plugged In this Wednesday night and quote “AussieTheatre” to receive a FREE bottle of wine (to the value of $35) AND a free copy of Michael Falzon’s E.P. with each Double Dinner & Show Booking. Call Slide direct on 02 89151899.

Falzon has starred in some of the biggest musicals in London, Asia and Australia, including Rock of Ages, We Will Rock You, Hedwig and The Angry Inch and the acclaimed season of Chess which recently played in Melbourne. Plugged In draws musical inspiration from these blockbuster shows along with some fresh interpretations of well known tunes and a peppering of his own material.

“Since Rock of Ages finished and I settled back in Sydney, this year has been all about diversity for me and I’ve taken on a lot of smaller projects. Getting ready for this, it has been wonderful to explore songs from shows I’ve done, songs I’ve really missed singing – Hedwig, Queen stuff, plus other artists I love and a lot of my own stuff that has a small audience, building slowing but finding it’s place out there!”, he said.
