Attenborough adds new shows in Melbourne and Sydney

David Attenborough has just added two more shows to his debut Australian tour

As announced by AussieTheatre earlier this year, Sir David Attenborough will be appearing live on stage in Melbourne and Sydney this August in a series of public events entitled Sir David Attenborough – A Life on Earth.

After tickets to the scheduled four events sold out in a matter of hours, two additional dates have been added to Attenborough’s tour – one in Sydney and one in Melbourne. The demand for tickets in both cities has been overwhelming, and tickets for the extra performances will be on sale to the public from Monday April 23.

Attenborough, who has been hailed as one of the world’s best-known natural history film-makers with a career spanning nearly six decades, will appear at the State Theatre Sydney from August 9-11 and at the Regent Theatre Melbourne from August 16-18. No more performances are possible.

Sir David Attenborough – A Life on Earth will take audiences on an incredible journey through Sir David’s extraordinary life, his untold stories, the evolution of filming techniques and his passion for bringing us closer to nature. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to share Sir David’s experiences with the great man himself, in person.
