Arts Centre Melbourne to offer more affordable tickets each week
Arts Centre Melbourne is excited to introduce a new initiative for more affordable tickets, every week, for tickets purchased online. Tix at 12 aims to provide the ultimate performing arts experience to even more Victorians and visitors, by offering discounted rush tickets to selected shows for a limited 12-hour window each week.
Beginning today, and continuing every Tuesday at 12:00pm, audiences will be offered a discount to select shows for the immediate week ahead via the promo code TIXAT12. Tickets will only be available for a limited time until 11:59pm that evening and only through the Arts Centre Melbourne website.

We know that the cost of living is placing pressure on Victorians right now, and that for many a great night out isn’t on the agenda as much as it used to be. Tix at 12 is here to help by throwing open our doors to a planned, or spontaneous night out, by introducing more access to affordable tickets. Everyone deserves to experience the joy, magic and thrill of live performance in our iconic venues, so we are doing as much as we can to make that great night out possible.
The offer will include tickets to shows across iconic Arts Centre Melbourne venues including the State Theatre, Playhouse, Fairfax Studio and Hamer Hall. Tickets will also be available to shows across our diverse and exciting program of comedy, dance, contemporary and classical music, ballet, theatre and more.
For events that Arts Centre Melbourne have produced in-house, audiences will receive a huge Tix at 12 saving of 50% off the standard ticket price. For all other events, Tix at 12 offers amazing value with tickets from only $40. Audiences will be able to choose from the best available seats with the offer lasting until the end of the day, or unless the allocation sells out prior.
Tix at 12 is in the style of Arts Centre Melbourne’s previous Tix at Six offer, with a change to being online ticket purchases only and therefore more accessible for more Victorians. Discounts will be available for shows from Wednesday to Tuesday, meaning discounted performances available to purchase on Tuesday 13 June will be for shows Wednesday 14 June to Tuesday 20 June.
For those with access requirements, tickets will also be available to purchase subject to availability.
