Amanda Harrison – Up Close and Reasonably Personal

Australian music theatre royalty Amanda Harrison, is coming to The Arts Centre on the Gold Coast for a one-night only Up Close and Reasonably Personal night on 20 July.

Amanda Harrison – Up close and (reasonably) personal

Best known for her impressive performance as the original Elphaba in the Australian production of Wicked, (which earned her Green Room, Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Award nominations for Best Leading Actress in a Musical), the mother of two has been working professionally since she was very young – first appearing in Aspects Of Love (1992) for the Really Useful Company.

Now, with a string of credits to her name including Paula in the world premiere production of An Officer And A Gentleman, Oz in We Will Rock You (winner of Helpmann Award 2004) Ellie in Leader of the Pack (Helpmann and Green Room nominations 2005), Harrison returns to the cabaret stage for one night to share some of her experiences from 21 years in the business.

Presented by The Arts Centre Gold Coast and Matt Ward Entertainment, Harrison’s latest venture Amanda Harrison – Up Close and Reasonably Personal will be playing in The Basement, The Arts Centre Gold Coast, on 20 July at 7:30pm.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see this uber talented artist in an intimate performance setting
