Titanique Reveals Broadway Cast Ahead of Limited St. James Theatre Run

Titanique has revealed its Broadway casting ahead of its upcoming limited run in New York, with several original performers set to reprise their roles when the musical opens this spring.

The off Broadway hit, which parodies the 1997 film Titanic using the music of Céline Dion, will begin previews at the St. James Theatre on 26 March, with opening night scheduled for 12 April. The production is booked for a 16 week engagement, with a planned closing date of 12 July 2026.

Originally premiering off Broadway at the Asylum Theater in June 2022, Titanique went on to transfer to the Daryl Roth Theatre later that year, where it earned both the Lucille Lortel Award and the Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Musical. The show concluded its off Broadway run earlier this year and is currently playing at the Criterion Theatre in London.

Co written by Marla Mindelle, Constantine Rousouli, and director Tye Blue, the musical reimagines the events of Titanic through the eyes of Dion, who steps into the story to offer her own version of what really happened.

Mindelle will reprise her original role as Céline Dion for the Broadway run. She will be joined by Jim Parsons as Ruth DeWitt Bukater, Deborah Cox as Molly Brown, and Frankie Grande, who returns to the role of Victor Garber. Rousouli will also reprise his off Broadway performance as Jack Dawson.

The Broadway creative team includes choreographer Ellenore Scott, music supervisor, arranger and orchestrator Nicholas James Connell, scenic designers Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production, costume designer Alejo Vietti, lighting designer Paige Seber, sound designer Lawrence Schober, and hair and wig designer Charles G LaPointe.

Titanique’s Broadway engagement marks the latest milestone for the cult favourite musical, which continues to play in the West End while expanding its international footprint.
