Star-Studded Cast Joins West End’s ‘Cabaret’ for an Electrifying Run

The West End’s ‘Cabaret’ is set to welcome a fresh trio of talent with Cara Delevingne, Luke Treadaway, and Michael Ahomka-Lindsay stepping into the spotlight. The actors are currently in rehearsals, gearing up to bring to life the iconic characters of Sally Bowles, the Emcee, and Cliff Bradshaw in the WhatsOnStage Award-winning production.

The cast change comes as Jake Shears, the lead singer of Scissor Sisters and lyricist for the Broadway-bound musical ‘Tammy Faye,’ along with Rebecca Lucy Taylor, currently portraying the Emcee and Sally Bowles, prepare to take their final bows on March 9.

The production also features a strong ensemble including Beverley Klein, Teddy Kempner, and Wilf Scolding among others. The incoming stars are set to perform from March 11 to June 1, with Delevingne scheduled to miss certain performances due to prior commitments.

Audiences will also be treated to a prologue company, adding an extra layer of entertainment before the show begins, showcasing talents such as Rachel Benson and Ami Benton.

Helmed by director Rebecca Frecknall, ‘Cabaret’ boasts a creative team with Tom Scutt handling set and costume design, Julia Cheng as choreographer, and Jennifer Whyte as musical supervisor. The production is illuminated by Isabella Byrd’s lighting design and enveloped in Nick Lidster’s sound design.

As anticipation builds for a Broadway production starring Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin, set for later this spring, London theatre-goers have a thrilling opportunity to catch this mesmerizing rendition of ‘Cabaret.’ Tickets are currently on sale, promising a not-to-be-missed theatrical experience in the heart of London’s West End.
