SIX THE MUSICAL LIVE! Trailer Brings The Original West End Queens To The Big Screen
The official trailer has been released for SIX THE MUSICAL LIVE!, the filmed version of the global musical theatre phenomenon, captured live at London’s Vaudeville Theatre.
The cinematic event reunites the six original West End Queens, with Jarnéia Richard-Noel as Catherine of Aragon, Millie O’Connell as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris as Jane Seymour, Alexia McIntosh as Anna of Cleves, Aimie Atkinson as Katherine Howard and Maiya Quansah-Breed as Catherine Parr.
Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, SIX reimagines the six wives of Henry VIII as modern pop icons, turning Tudor history into a high-energy concert-style musical about identity, survival and reclaiming the narrative. Part pop concert and part musical, the show sees the Queens step out from the shadow of Henry VIII and take centre stage on their own terms.
The Tony Award-winning production has become one of the most recognisable musical theatre success stories of the past decade, seen by more than 3.5 million people worldwide. Its mix of powerhouse vocals, sharp humour and arena-style staging has helped transform the show from a breakout theatre hit into an international phenomenon.
SIX THE MUSICAL LIVE! captures that energy for the screen, preserving the performance of the cast who helped define the show’s original West End success. Backed by the production’s on-stage band, the filmed version brings together the concert atmosphere, choreography and vocal performances that have made SIX a favourite with audiences across the world.
The release of the trailer gives fans a first look at the live capture, offering a glimpse of the show’s glittering costumes, pop-driven score and signature attitude. For longtime fans, it is a chance to revisit the original Queens. For new audiences, it offers an accessible entry point into one of musical theatre’s most successful modern hits.
SIX THE MUSICAL LIVE! will arrive in U.S. cinemas from 14 August 2026.
