Six the Musical Announces Extended West End Run and Special Karaoke Event

London’s beloved production ‘Six the Musical’ is set to enchant audiences until 2025, with exciting new performances and a unique karaoke event on the horizon, the producers have announced.

The musical, which reimagines the lives of Henry VIII’s wives as a modern pop concert, has confirmed it will continue its run at the Vaudeville Theatre into 2025. This extension comes with an added thrill for fans—a special post-show karaoke event titled ‘Six Karaoke (You Have A Voice)’ on June 6, 2024, that will simultaneously occur with its Broadway counterpart. London’s event will be hosted by Hannah Lowther, a current cast member.

Fans eager to showcase their singing skills can vie for a chance to perform on the Vaudeville stage by uploading a video clip of themselves singing a track from ‘Six’ to Instagram Reels or TikTok. They must tag @sixthemusical and use hashtags #YouHaveAVoice and #SIXWestEndKaraoke for entry.

Moreover, the production is adding two additional sing-along shows on January 12, 2025, and May 4, 2025, complementing already scheduled sing-alongs in May and August 2024.

Producer Kenny Wax expressed his excitement about the extension: ‘We’re absolutely delighted to be extending our reign in London, providing audiences with even more opportunities to Get Down with our incredible queens and live band until May 2025. We’re also thrilled to offer talented fans a unique opportunity to experience the life of a West End star.’

The cast includes notable performers Nikki Bentley, Thao Therese Nguyen, Kayleigh McKnight, Reca Oakley, Inez Budd, and Janiq Charles in principal roles. They are supported by an accomplished ensemble that ensures each performance captures the essence of the show’s vibrant spirit.

‘Six the Musical,’ penned by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss and directed by Moss alongside Jamie Armitage, continues to captivate global audiences with its innovative storytelling and dynamic musical numbers. The production also features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille and an array of technical expertise that brings the spectacle to life.

This musical first made waves at the Edinburgh Fringe and has since grown into a worldwide phenomenon, including ongoing tours and a celebrated Broadway run. As ‘Six’ extends its presence in London’s West End, it promises more thrilling experiences for theatre-goers and fans alike.
