Revamped ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Musical to Embark on 30th Anniversary US Tour

Disney’s iconic stage musical, ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ is set to embark on a US tour, offering a refreshed rendition of the timeless classic to commemorate its 30th anniversary. The tour, anticipated to commence in June 2025, promises to bring a fresh perspective to the much-loved musical, appealing to both ardent fans and a new generation of theatergoers.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ has etched its name in Broadway history as one of the top 10 longest-running shows, captivating audiences with its spellbinding storytelling and musical brilliance. The forthcoming tour is a testament to the enduring legacy and universal appeal of the musical.

The tour is scheduled to kick off with technical rehearsals in Schenectady, NY, in June 2025, followed by the official opening at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago, IL, in July. The production will then move to the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, MN, in August. Additional tour stops and casting details are set to be announced in the future.

This renewed production is a collaborative effort, featuring contributions from the original Tony Award-winning artistic team, including renowned composer Alan Menken, esteemed lyricist Tim Rice, acclaimed book writer Linda Woolverton, and celebrated choreographer Matt West.
