Rehearsal photos have been released ahead of Leslie Odom Jr. joining the West End production of Hamilton at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre.

The Tony Award winning performer will return to the role of Aaron Burr, which he originated on Broadway, for a limited nine week engagement from 3 July to 5 September 2026.

Odom’s arrival marks his West End debut in the musical, bringing one of Hamilton’s original Broadway stars into the London production for the first time. New rehearsal images, photographed by Danny Kaan, show Odom in the room with the current West End company as preparations continue for his opening performance.

Danielsas Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Bellinfantie as Hercules Mulligan and James Madison, Shak Mancel James as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton, Jasmine Jia Yung Shen as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds, and Daniel Boys as King George III.

For performances on 27, 28 and 29 July 2026, the role of Aaron Burr will be played by Yeukayi Ushe.
