Portrait images of West End production of Mrs Doubtfire The Musical released

Exciting new portrait images have been unveiled, showcasing Gabriel Vick in the dual roles of Daniel Hillard and his alter ego Euphegenia Doubtfire, as anticipation builds for the West End premiere of the Broadway musical Mrs Doubtfire.

Featuring original music and lyrics by the talented Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, and a captivating book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell—the creative minds behind Something Rotten!—Mrs Doubtfire tells the heartwarming story of a father who invents a Scottish nanny persona to spend more time with his children after a challenging separation.

The phenomenal cast is led by Gabriel Vick (Avenue Q) and includes Laura Tebbutt (School of Rock) as Miranda Hillard, Carla Dixon-Hernandez (Matilda the Musical) as Lydia Hillard, Cameron Blakely (Newsies) as Frank Hillard, Marcus Collins (Kinky Boots) as Andre, Samuel Edwards (Anything Goes) as Stuart Dunmire, Ian Talbot (Hairspray, and Director of The Mousetrap) as Mr. Jolly, and Kelly Agbowu (Sylvia) as Wanda Sellner.

A stellar ensemble of supporting cast members and an enchanting child company round out the production, bringing the story to life with their exceptional talent.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!), with mesmerizing choreography by Lorin Latarro (Waitress) and outstanding music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Ethan Popp (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), Mrs Doubtfire promises to be an unforgettable experience. The production also boasts stunning scenic design by David Korins (Hamilton), exquisite costume design by Catherine Zuber (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), dazzling lighting design by Philip S. Mrs. Doubtfire was originally a beloved 1993 American comedy-drama film directed by Chris Columbus. The movie is based on the 1987 novel “Alias Madame Doubtfire” by Anne Fine. The film stars Robin Williams as Daniel Hillard, a loving father who, after a painful divorce, disguises himself as a kind-hearted, elderly Scottish nanny named Euphegenia Doubtfire to stay close to his children. Sally Field plays his ex-wife, Miranda Hillard, while Pierce Brosnan plays her new romantic interest. The film blends comedy and heartfelt emotion to tell a story about the importance of family, love, and the lengths a parent will go to be with their children. Mrs. Doubtfire was a commercial success and received several awards and nominations, including an Academy Award for Best Makeup and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Robin Williams.
