Mrs Doubtfire Welcomes New Faces to West End Cast at Shaftesbury Theatre

The beloved West End production of Mrs Doubtfire at Shaftesbury Theatre has announced a fresh lineup of cast members for its current season. Continuing the narrative of the heartwarming film featuring Robin Williams, the musical tells the story of Daniel Hillard, a father’s creative attempt to be closer to his children. Gabriel Vick retains his role as Daniel, embodying the character with the same charm that has captivated audiences.

Joining Vick are several new talents, including Laura Tebbutt as Miranda Hillard and Cameron Blakely as Frank Hillard. Notably, Marcus Collins will portray Andre and Micha Richardson steps into the role of Wanda Sellner. Adding to the excitement, the production will see Charlotte Fleming make her West End debut as Lydia Hillard starting Tuesday, 14 May 2024.

The ensemble will also welcome Matthew Goodgame as Stuart Dunmire and Ross Dawes as Mr. Jolly. They join a robust cast that includes Michael Afemaré, Alex Bowen, and numerous others, demonstrating the depth and diversity of talent this production continues to attract.

Mrs Doubtfire features original music and lyrics by Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick, with direction by Tony Award-winning Jerry Zaks. The production team brings together some of the brightest talents in theatre, ensuring a visual and auditory feast that honors the film’s legacy.

Performances are scheduled to continue through 16 February 2025, with tickets available for purchase now. This musical adaptation remains a testament to the enduring appeal of a story about family, identity, and the lengths one will go to for love.
