‘Hamilton’ Secures Extended Run in West End with Special Holiday Schedule Announced

The Victoria Palace Theatre is set to continue its revolutionary tale as ‘Hamilton’ extends its stay in London’s West End. This acclaimed production, which has captivated audiences with its dynamic portrayal of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, has announced an extension through 29 March 2025, including a detailed festive performance schedule.

‘Hamilton’ stars Declan Spaine in the lead role, supported by a talented cast including Simon-Anthony Rhoden as Aaron Burr and Shan Ako as Eliza Hamilton. The show also welcomes new additions, with Georgina Onuorah stepping into the role of Angelica Schuyler and Joel Montague returning as King George III starting 8 April 2024.

The ensemble cast, featuring a mix of seasoned and emerging talents, brings to life the story of ambition, legacy, and revolution with performances that have been the talk of the town. ‘Hamilton’ is renowned for its innovative music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, inspired by Ron Chernow’s comprehensive biography of Alexander Hamilton.

The production team, led by director Thomas Kail and choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, with musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, ensures a mesmerizing theatrical experience. The creative designs, including scenic elements by David Korins, costumes by Paul Tazewell, and lighting by Howell Binkley, immerse audiences in the world of the late 18th century with a contemporary twist.

For those planning to catch the show during the holiday season, ‘Hamilton’ has confirmed performances from 23 December to 4 January, offering multiple matinee and evening options to accommodate festive schedules.

With its extension and the holiday performance lineup, ‘Hamilton’ continues to be a must-see in London’s theatre scene, promising an unforgettable experience of storytelling and musical brilliance. Tickets for the extended run and special holiday performances are now available, ensuring fans and newcomers alike can witness this groundbreaking musical phenomenon.
