Alyssa Fox takes on the role of Elphaba in Broadway’s Wicked

A new leading lady is set to take the stage in the highly acclaimed Broadway production of “Wicked.” Alyssa Fox will be stepping into the iconic role of Elphaba, beginning on March 7th. Talia Suskauer, who has been captivating audiences as Elphaba, will be giving her final performance on March 5th.

Fox has been associated with “Wicked” for over a decade, having starred in the national tour and served as both an Elphaba standby and understudy for the San Francisco production. She also has Broadway experience in her role as Elsa standby in “Frozen.”

Joining Fox on stage will be McKenzie Kurtz as Glinda, Tony-winner Cleavant Derricks as The Wizard, James D. Fiyero will be played by Gish, Boq by Michael Wartella, Madame Morrible by Tony-winning actress Michele Pawk, Doctor Dillamond by Tony nominee Clifton Davis, and Nessarose by Mikayla Renfrow
