Dogfight will run at the Hayes Theatre in May.
AussieTheatre are thrilled to be giving away 4 Double Passes to see the Australian premiere of Pasek and Paul’s Dogfight at Hayes Theatre Co next month!
Starring Luigi Lucente, Hilary Cole, Johanna Allen, Danielle Barnes, Toby Francis, Emily Havea, Haydan Hawkins, Kyle Sapsford, Mark Simpson, Jack Van Staveren and Rowan Witt, Dogfight is based on the 1991 movie of the same name, starring River Phoenix.
After premiering Off-Broadway in 2012, (winning the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical and was nominations for 5 Outer Critics Circle and 2 Drama Desk Award), the show is now heading down under thanks to producer/director Neil Gooding in association with Hayes Theatre Co, Potts Point.
On the night before their deployment to Vietnam in 1963, three young Marines set out for one final boys’ night of debauchery. But when Corporal Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, the unassuming and idealistic waitress he enlists to win a cruel bet, she rewrites the rules of the game and opens his eyes to what really matters in life.
“This will be the first production that has been seen of this incredible new show in Australia” said Neil Gooding, “It is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting productions I have ever put together”.
Enter below for your chance to win one of four double passes to see the show on May 2 at Hayes Theatre.
Competition closes Monday 27 April at 6pm AEST. Winners will be notified via email/phone.
