Photo feature: The Australian Ballet’s Nijinsky

The Australian Ballet’s latest work is a frank love letter to one of the form’s legendary dancers. Vaslav Nijinsky changed dance forever with his explosive leap and his shockingly sensual choreography, before a dark descent into madness ended his career.

Choreographer John Neumeier (Director Hamburg Ballet), charts Nijinsky’s rise and fall in Nijinsky – a tour-de-force for the company’s male dancers. Check out the breathtaking pics below, and click here for more information – and to book tickets.

The beautiful photos are by Lightbox Photography.
