The Farnsworth Invention focuses on two men – Philo Farnsworth and David Sarnoff – and their race to invent the television. Brilliantly acted by the two leads, Damian Sommerlad and Patrick Connolly, and a with a strong supporting cast, this company does justice to Sorkin’s crisp, dialogue driven drama. Smooth direction, a simple but effective set design and an original score by Heinz Schweers, combine to create a pleasing and engaging theatrical experience, which will leave you pondering the inventions of time gone by.
