Stephen K Amos
A mixture of interviews and stand up makes Talk Show an entertaining way to spend an afternoon.
Hosting a number of fellow MICF performers, Amos introduces the show in his usual good-natured and cheeky manner with digs at various audience members. From there, we get to meet four different comedy acts also performing at MICF – Daniel Sloss, Carey Marx, Ivan Aristeguieta and The Stephenson Experience.
Of these four, Marx and The Stephenson Experience are the highlights – one will never look at a carrot the same way again after watching Marx, while the twins of The Stephenson Experience have oodles of charm and talent.
While the audience was also treated to the silent physical comedy of female duo The Kagools, it was disappointing that no female comedians were actually interviewed. That aside, Amos proves himself to be a charming host who knows how to make his guests feel at ease.
