Your Sunday Afternoon Zen: Elisa Colla sings “Meadowlark”

It’s one of those enduring standards, the kind of song an artist can build a complex narrative from just with their phrasing. It’s “Meadowlark,” and this afternoon is a warm, gorgeous rendition by Elisa Colla.

Colla is perhaps best known for playing Nessarose in Wicked, and can currently be seen in the acclaimed Australian production of Les Mis, where she is part of the incredible ensemble, and covering the role of Cosette.

She will star in Packemin’s upcoming production of West Side Story, and after hearing her “Meadowlark,” you’ll be more than ready to hear her take on Maria.

Happy Sunday.
