Your Sunday Afternoon Zen: Andrew Cook sings “Lonely Boy”

Andrew Cook has been having something of a moment. From understudying major parts in King Kong and Moonshadow to landing a featured role in Strictly Ballroom and blowing audiences away in his performances as a finalist at last year’s Rob Guest Endowment concert, he’s now appearing in the critically adored Matilda the Musical in Sydney.

Cook lives within the song, building a lifetime in a few minutes’ worth of performance. You can get a great taste of his presence in this cover of “Lonely Boy” from Blue Saint Productions’ We Got This Covered.

You’re going to like this one. Happy Sunday.
