Maxine Mellor and Kat Henry have adapted Kenneth Graham’s classic children’s book The Wind in the Willows to the stage for La Boite Theatre’s summer programme.
The Wind in the Willows, starring Luke Carroll (Black Diggers, Play School) is a one man tour-de-force, kid’s style. The story follows four friends in a heartfelt and humorous adventure with Ratty, Mole, Badger, and Mr. Toad.
Aussie Theatre’s Queensland correspondent Bobbi-Lea, caught up with Director Kat Henry just after the first preview to talk about this World Premiere production.
The Wind in the Willows is playing at La Boite Theatre from 7-17 January. For more information, visit their website: The Wind in the Willows at La Boite Theatre
