The cast for the forthcoming Australian production of West Side Story has been announced.
Producers confirmed at a media briefing in Sydney yesterday that Josh Piterman, who recently starred in Melbourne Theatre Company’sThe Drowsy Chaperone, will play Tony, whilst Julie Goodwin will play Maria.
Other principal cast confirmed yesterday included Nigel Turner-Carroll, Alinta Chidzey and Rohan Browne.
The musical opens at the Lyric Theatre in Sydney in July before touring the country.
