Video: First performance of “We Will Rock You” ahead of new tour

We Will Rock You, the musical featuring a book by Ben Elton and the music of legendary band Queen, is well known for its musical numbers. And we have here your first taste of the new Australian cast feeling the music!

At the cast announcement event in Sydney this past weekend, the principal cast – Gareth Keegan, Erin Clare, Brian Mannix, Casey Donovan, Thern Reynolds, Jaz Flowers, and Simon Russell – performed the title song, “We Will Rock You.” They filled Oxford Art Factory with the kind of energy you can expect from the show itself: the elation of good guitar riffs and the appreciation of a high point in rock history.
