Vegas headliner comic returns for 20 Year Australian Tour: Bohm Presents TAPE FACE

Bohm Presents is thrilled to announce the return of international comedy phenomenon Tape Face for his Australian Tour from March–April 2026.

Celebrating 20 years of the show that redefined physical comedy, Tape Face will tour nationwide as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and Perth Comedy Festival.

Straight from a decade-long headliner residency on the Las Vegas Strip, the comedic genius that is Tape Face will play Melbourne’s fortyfivedownstairs from 26 March – 19 April.

Tape Face is the creation of New Zealand-born performer Sam Wills, who initially trained as a clown and busker before developing his silent comic persona. That now-legendary persona rose to global fame after a viral run on America’s Got Talent where his quirky, tape-sealed mouth, wide-eyed expressions and clever prop routines earned standing ovations and tens of millions of online views.

This unique blend of mime, physical humour, participatory theatre and sheer creative audacity has sold out theatres from Las Vegas to Edinburgh for two decades, taking its place as one of the most celebrated contemporary live comedy shows in the world.

Mime with noise, stand-up with no talking – drama with no dialogue. Tape Face has become a global sensation. Australians have a rare chance to see the critically award-winning show that started it all.

Astonishingly innovative comedy – I’ve never seen a comedian have so much success with audience participation. Surreal, charming and absurd :  The Age
