Featuring performances by Queenie van de Zandt (‘Jan van de Stool’), Lucy Maunder (The Threepenny Opera), Natalie Gamsu (Dr Zhivago), and Toby Francis (Bloklahoma!), as well as Glenn Hill, Daniel Bell and Kathleen Moore, and the Australian Institute of Music graduating year, the three-course dinner and accompanying wines will be a night of enjoying the cream of Australia’s music theatre and cabaret talent.
The Opera & Arts Support group, established in 1991, works extensively to raise funds that are distributed to many of Australia’s young singers and musicians to assist them in developing their expertise and reaching their full potential. Run entirely by volunteers, it has raised over $800,000 in grants for its artistic recipients.
The group has supported artists such as opera powerhouses Teddy Tahu Rhodes and Emma Matthews, and current Love Never Dies star Ben Lewis.
