Tim Minchin’s BACK available to rent or buy from December 12th, 2022

Multi-award-winning Australian musician, comedian, writer, composer and actor, Tim Minchin has today announced the digital release of his record breaking, sell-out show – BACK available to rent or own in Australia from December 12, 2022.

Filmed live at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London, with an eight-person band, TIM MINCHIN: BACK is a comedy and music extravaganza loved by critics across the globe.

The critically acclaimed show was watched by a quarter of a million fans across a total of 133 shows in 39 venues around the world, and makes Minchin the #1 selling solo performer in Australia and New Zealand. Now, for the first time, Australian audiences will have the chance to relive the show in the comfort of their own homes.

“Though I’m the absolute worst person to judge my stuff, BACK is nothing if not unique! It veers from the silly to the soaring, from patter to polemic, from swing to rock to funk to ballad and back. It is sometimes absurd and sometimes arguably a bit emotional, and there’s even a chance it will make you think. It features 7 wonderful, hilarious, talented musicians, and I also put in a showing,” says Tim.

BACK will be available for streaming and purchase on all major media platforms from December 12th, 2022.
