The Wharf Revue: Pride in Prejudice comes to Melbourne

For more than 20 years, The Wharf Revue has delivered razor-sharp political satire to audiences in Sydney and around the country. Now it’s finally Melbourne’s turn.

From the producer and creator of 2021’s smash hit The Gospel According to Paul at Arts Centre Melbourne, Jonathan Biggins and the Revue’s Team of Rivals step into the Melbourne spotlight with this year’s hilarious Pride in Prejudice TM.

Featuring a line-up of characters including Anthony Albanese, Tanya Plibersek, Jacqui Lambie, Joe Biden, Sussan Ley and Peter Dutton, and riffing off shows including Q&A, Play School, Stephen Sondheim’s Company and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific, Pride in Prejudice is a sensational value proposition from Australia’s most trusted revue-based practitioners.

Satirical content is up by 7% and the average laughter quotient is indexed at 8.3% over the forward estimates, but the Revue defies the cost-of-living pressure with an affordable offering at yesterday’s prices.

With a guarantee that no jokes are written by Chat GPT and no sketches outsourced to PWC, Pride in Prejudice is completely gluten-free, suitable for the lactose intolerant and no animals were harmed during the production process.

With over 23 years’ experience in the political satire space, The Wharf Revue guarantees an exceptional night of laughter.
