The Very Popular Theatre Company’s JERSEY BOYS Auditions open now

The producers of last month’s sold-out season of CHESS: The Musical, starring David Harris and Silvie Paladino, and 2019’s smash hit Mamma Mia, are now auditioning for their upcoming production of Jersey Boys.

Produced by The Very Popular Theatre Company, the show will have its Newcastle premier at the magnificent 1500-seat Civic Theatre.

The 2021 season will open with a VIP Gala Event on Friday 8 October and run through to Saturday 23 October.

The stellar creative team includes Director Nicholas Christo, Musical Director Dan Wilson, Choreographer Rachel Wilson. and Assistant Director Krystalle Williamson.

Technical Design will be in the hands of Jacob Harwood and Jennifer Ellicott is the Costume Designer.

No roles have been pre-cast and the creative team is looking for a diverse and vibrant cast, so performers of all ethnicities and gender types are encouraged to apply for any roles.

Auditions will be held on Saturday 10 April, with a compulsory dance call and invitation-only callbacks on Saturday 24 April.
All rehearsals will be held in Newcastle commencing in July 2021.
