The Divine Miss Bette finds her way to Glen Street

Bette Midler was discovered by Steve Ostrow, and now he’s discovered another gem:  Sydney’s Catherine Alcorn. Her cabaret tribute to Midler, The Divine Miss Bette, is a hilarious and tart delight that will find its way to Glen Street in July.

Miss Bette (Catherine Alcorn) and The Harlettes

Alcorn laughs, jokes, mingles with the audience, and delivers that essential down-and-dirty earthiness that made Bette – the people’s diva – so renowned.

A dash of bawdy and plenty of panache awaits Alcorn’s audiences as she tackles beloved Bette staples: ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’, ‘Wind Beneath my Wings’, ‘The Rose’, ‘Otto Titsling’, ‘Chapel of Love’, and plenty more.

Come for the music, and stay for what Alcorn calls the “Hitz, glitz, and tremendous tits!”

The Divine Miss Bette is directed by Peter Cox and produced by Catherine Alcorn and Neil Gooding Productions. For tickets and more information, visit www.glenstreet.com.au.
