The Artist’s Lab Broadway and West End Experience 2026 Sydney Workshop

The Artist’s Lab has announced the return of its flagship Broadway and West End Experience for 2026, following four highly successful editions between 2022 and 2025. The five day intensive will take place in Sydney and brings together some of the most respected names in international musical theatre for a rare multidisciplinary training experience.

The Broadway and West End Experience is designed as an immersive week of learning for singers, actors and dancers aged 12 years and over, offering participants the opportunity to train across multiple disciplines while working directly with leading figures from Broadway, the West End and the Australian theatre industry. Over the course of the week, participants will engage in more than thirty hours of intensive training, learning challenging and iconic repertoire drawn from some of the most demanding works in musical theatre.

The program is spearheaded by West End and Broadway Choreographer and Creative, Simone Sault and performer Paul Tabone who has starred in over eighteen hundred performances of The Phantom of the Opera internationally and now heads both The Artist’s Lab Vocal Studio and The Artist’s Lab Agency.

The Broadway and West End Experience has built a strong reputation for connecting emerging performers with the greats of theatre. Previous workshops have included internationally celebrated artists such as Patti LuPone, Marina Prior, Simon Phillips, Derrick Davis, Michael Cormick, Sharon Millerchip, casting teams from Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, and Broadway and West End stars including Kerry Ellis and Ruthie Henshall.

Training takes place at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Surry Hills and culminates in a professional showcase performance presented in front of Australia’s leading producers, directors and agents. The showcase provides participants with invaluable performance experience and direct exposure to decision makers within the industry.

The Broadway and West End Experience has become a recognised pathway for young and emerging performers, with alumni going on to work professionally across Australia, the United States of America, Asia and London. Places for the 2026 program are limited and demand is expected to be high.

Applications for the Broadway and West End Experience 2026 are now open. Early Bird discount must finish on March 15.
