Sydney’s most spectacular night out: Smash-hit musical West Side Story on Sydney Harbour

Smash-hit musical West Side Story will return to the Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour stage for a strictly limited 4 week season from March 22 in an electrifying, larger-than life staging.

Audiences will experience the greatest score ever written for musical theatre, dynamic dance numbers and stunning voices that soar through the open air, when the brilliant cast of West Side Story on Sydney Harbour take to the overwater stage for this annual highlight of Sydney’s cultural calendar.

Known as one of Sydney’s most spectacular night’s out with each performance including a nightly fireworks display, plus there’s a range of pop-up bars and eateries across the site, from fine dining to a casual bite, and unmatched views of Sydney’s iconic cityscape, including the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

For a touch of luxury, the stunning HSBC Platinum Club will be serving a fine-dining dinner menu before each performance, with drinks available before the show and during interval. Set amongst the treetops, with truly spectacular views overlooking Sydney Harbour, this is an unmissable Sydney experience.

Also on site, and exclusive to ticketholders, is the Qantas Garden Bar, Feel New Sydney Terrace, Southern Terrace and Northern Cantina, all offering a more casual fare, with a mix of dinner, drinks and snacks available for audiences to craft their own perfect night out.

West Side Story on Sydney Harbour premiered in 2019 to rapturous acclaim and remains the most successful of all Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour productions.
