Sydney Fringe Festival’s Fringe Kids program presents vibrant lineup of shows this September and October
Sydney Fringe Festival is presenting a vibrant lineup of shows for Fringe Kids this September and a dedicated week in October during the school holidays. The newly expanded Village Green Festival Garden at Darling Quarter, Spiegeltent Festival Garden at the Entertainment Quarter and Bondi Theatre Pavilion are bringing high-energy entertainment in the daytime tailored for families and kids, with program of events spanning interactive theatre experiences, circus performances, music and storytelling.

Village Green Festival Garden, Darling Quarter
KABOOM! (until 22 September) is a 60 minute science spectacular full of explosions, experiments and hilarity performed by mad scientist Magnus Danger Magnus.
CIRCUS The Show (until 22 September) is the latest trailblazer in children’s entertainment featuring world-class illusions, tumbling acrobats, highly skilled jugglers, breath-taking and elegant aerialists, and an endearing clown with his gigantic 6ft balloon.
CIRCUS OF F*ACT*S (until 22 September) is a funny, fast-paced family circus show set to delight all ages, featuring captivating circus acts and an intriguing narrative that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.
101 Ways to Annoy Your Parents and Other Really Old People (28 September – 6 October) is a hilarious and entertaining show by multi award-winning kids comedian Matty Grey.
The Giant Balloon Show (until 7 October) is a high-energy show by award-winning entertainer Dizzy O’Dare. Expect balloons, audience participation, an upbeat ’80s soundtrack, and the all-important giant balloon.
Bubble Show in Space (until 7 October) combines an outer space adventure with the best bubble tricks, fantastic costumes, amazing puppetry and laugh out loud slapstick, featuring award-winning entertainers Dr Bubble and Milkshake.
Let me explain… (27 – 28 September) is an all ages live performance; part science lesson, part comedy, part social revolution, passionately delivered with colourful, exciting close-up photos of weird and wonderful critters.
Bubbalicious (28 September – 6 October) is a show for babies featuring a sensory display of colour, sound, light and movement to spark joy and ignite wonder. Incorporating puppetry, clowning, bubbles, shadow play and much more.
The Bubble Whisperer (1 – 6 October) is an interactive, up-close bubble show featuring mesmerising bubble art and airbending by Maxwell the Bubbleologist. A unique and magical experience for all.
Restricted Access (1 – 6 October) is a captivating show by a Swiss clown who has toured across Europe and has now arrived with her multicultural show in Sydney. This interactive performance is a perfect blend of humour, acrobatics, juggling, and magic, crafted to delight audiences of all ages.
Wild Life (1 – 6 October) is a vibrant, immersive event set to captivate young audiences, blending rhythm, dance and musical exploration and encouraging children of all ages to move, create and imagine.
I Pet a Dog (2 – 6 October) features singer-songwriter Taylor Nodell, who plays guitar and sings on topics such as petting dogs, lunar phenomenon, and his pet fish Harold.
Spaghetti Confetti – Lettuce Dance (2 – 6 October) is an interactive show that encourages audience participation through singing, dancing and rocking out as members of a super high-energy live band.
Spiegeltent Festival Garden, Entertainment Quarter The Flying Bubble Show (until 29 September) is an unforgettable adventure featuring Maxwell the Bubbleologist, who blends bubble artistry with aerial acrobatics, creating a mesmerising spectacle that defies the laws of physics.
All Star Circus (until 29 September) is a world class circus show for all ages, featuring graceful aerialists, amazing acrobats and hilarious slapstick comedy by an award-winning cast of seasoned professionals. Bondi Pavilion Theatre
The Librarian (4 – 5 October) is an acclaimed production that blends clowning, physical theatre and the circus arts, inviting young audiences to discover the passion of reading and the power of the imagination.
