Suzie Mathers: the new Glinda

It has been confirmed that Suzie Mathers will be taking over the role of Glinda from Lucy Durack for the Asian tour of Wicked.

Currently an ensemble member in Wicked, Mathers has understudied and performed the role of Glinda more than 20 times in Australian run, and will soon be preparing for her first opening night as the Good Witch in Singapore this December.

AussieTheatre.com will chat with Suzie Mathers this afternoon – stay tuned for an exclusive interview with Wicked’s new leading lady.

Wicked will have its final Australian performance in Perth at the Burswood Theatre on Sunday September 11. The show has sold over 154,000 tickets for the Perth season, setting a ground breaking new record for theatre sales in WA.

Tickets are still available through TICKETEK on 132 849 or online at
