Star lineup confirmed for Hats Off Sydney 2014

Oz Showbiz Cares / Equity Fights AIDS has been presenting Hats Off Sydney for nearly two decades and today a new ambassador has been announced for the 17th annual charity concert.

Icon, rock god and star of the stage Paul Capsis has been confirmed as the 2014 ambassador along with a host of headlining performers, all of whom take to the Seymour Centre stage on February 17 to raise funds for the fight against HIV and AIDS.

This year, the theme is Hats Off! to the Legends, and the show will honour artists and entertainers – both past and present – whose contribution to the world of theatre and music continues to inspire.

Joining the cast will be soul sister Roshani Priddis, pocket rocket Laura Murphy (Grease), Danielle Barnes, Luke Kennedy (The Voice, Australia), Chloe Dallimore,  Queenie Van de Zandt (King Kong) and many more doyennes, divas and rock stars!

Creative Producer of the event, Peter Silver, is thrilled with the initial lineup for 2014 and will be announcing a full cast list on AussieTheatre next week.

“The incredible array of performers who give up their time for this event never ceases to amaze me. Hats Off is always a great showcase for Sydney’s arts and entertainment industry, and the support we receive year after year is simply wonderful. Once again, we have a stellar lineup and I can’t wait to share the full cast list with AussieTheatre readers very soon!”, he said.

Tickets to this Mardi Gras event are now on sale. For more information visit mardigras.org.au

Hats Off! is presented by Oz Showbiz Cares / Equity Fights AIDS Inc. All proceeds go toward supporting ACON and the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation.
