Melburnians have flocked to the city’s exciting and invigorating city entertainment site, Spiegel Haus Melbourne, since it opened in late October 2025. Over 100,000 people have experienced its many delights, including cabaret, comedy, burlesque, jazz, dance parties, magic, kids shows and everything in between.
But the party is almost over, with only weeks to go until it closes out its inaugural season on 26 July 2026. Debauched cabaret show Blanc de Blanc Encore, which premiered as Spiegel Haus Melbourne’s opening event in October, will extend its season for a fourth time and debut a new international cast, closing at the same time as the venue.
July will host a raft of family-friendly shows for the school holidays, including The Ultimate Kids Magic Extravaganza, The Gagliardies – My Family is a Circus and Blast Lab!
Music highlights include ClubHaus OpenHaus on Sunday 14 June and Whoop Dee Doo on Saturday 20 June.
Spiegel Haus Melbourne Creative Director, Chris Mitchell :
The past seven months have been a huge success for Spiegel Haus, with audiences and artists embracing the venue and the energy it has brought to Melbourne’s live performance scene.
I’d encourage people to experience Spiegel Haus while they still can. It’s been incredibly special to see how Melbourne has embraced it, and we’d love audiences to be part of these final weeks before the season comes to a close.
Blanc de Blanc Encore’s record-breaking run at Spiegel Haus continues with its intoxicating blend of circus, cabaret, comedy and risqué glamour, celebrating the wild and wonderful world of champagne, until 26 July.
The production also welcomes a new wave of international talent to this adults-only spectacle of world-class acrobatics, sultry burlesque, and outrageous humour, including aerialist Dwoira Galilea from San Francisco, burlesque artist Sunny Zhurba from Ukraine, acrobat and pole dancer Peter Holoda from Hungary, aerialist and iron jaw specialist Ruby McQueen from New York, hip hopper, popper and ‘bone breaker’ Mykhailo Makarov from Kiev, dancer and choreographer Cassandra Merwood from Sydney, and Blanc De Blanc Encore host Alexander Makardish from Orange County.
Children aren’t forgotten at Spiegel Haus with a trio of delightful family-friendly shows for the July school holidays.
Be ready to laugh, gasp, and believe in the impossible with The Ultimate Kids Magic Extravaganza, a world-class magic show for the whole family. Presented Melbourne as part of The Melbourne Magic Festival, and featuring the hilarious and chaotic antics of Armando from Italy, kids will enter a dream time world of storytelling magic from The Magic Pyjama Party.
